	HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? We charge a single fixed fee for all stages of the proceeding, up to, but not including trial. This fee includes the DMV hearing. We charge a separate fixed fee for trial. We are not the least expensive firm around town. However, we believe that we offer a good value for your money. In order to determine the cost of the case, we need to discuss the case with you. We need to determine the facts of the case, whether there are any priors or enhancements, and we need to discuss what your goals and expectations are. You should understand that in order to properly defend your case, there will be several court appearances, coupled with many hours of attorney time in the office. In addition, there may be expert costs, lab fees, and investigation costs associated with your defense. Typically, the initial retainer is paid in advance. We do accept credit cards. In certain instances payment arrangements can be made. Costs need to be paid to third parties, and must be paid in advance of those services. Trial fees are to be deposited before the first trial setting date. That is generally three to four months after the initial appearance date.
